Research Associate (Civil Engineering)

NTU, CEE is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. We are looking for a Research Associate to support the development of hybrid vision-vibration digital twin for steel structures. The role will focus on simulation, lab testing and developing smart connectors for modular floating breakwaters. Key Responsibilities: Develop modelling techniques for hybrid digital twins. Fabricate steel building models with corrosions. Develop AI and model updating techniques to calibrate the model. Publish several papers in top journals. Write proposals for further development. Mentor students. Job Requirements: MSc degree in civil engineering or related field At least 1 year of relevant experience in structural analysis and machine learning. Good written and oral communication skills Proficiency in ABAQUS, MATLAB, and lab test skill Ability to work independently and develop solutions under strict timelines We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
