We are looking for a Research Fellow to work in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) and conduct research on additive manufacturing for construction, with a particular focus on 3D printing of polymeric or metal materials and their applications in concrete system. The role will focus on performing independent and collaborative research to meet the project objectives, developing new solutions, and publishing high-quality journal papers. The appointment is for 8 months with a provision for further extensions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent and collaborative research on additive manufacturing technologies for construction. Plan and carry out experimental programs involving the fabrication, testing, and characterization of composite materials. Develop architected structures using numerical simulation and parametric design tools. Contribute to the dissemination of research outcomes through peer-reviewed journal publications and technical reports. Assist in securing external funding through grant applications and proposals. Job Requirements: PhD degree in Civil Engineering. Technical hands-on experience in additive manufacturing. Strong academic record with demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
