We seek individuals with exceptional promise for and / or have aproven record of research achievements within their chosen fields of research.They should also have a keen interest and strong ability for effectiveundergraduate and graduate level teaching. Candidates must have a strong visionand motivation for advancing the research frontier, as well as educating our nextgeneration of young leaders in this rapidly evolving field. Candidates shouldalso demonstrate the ability to combine theoretical knowledge with practicaldevelopment of computational solutions and systems, where applicable. The position is open for candidates working in allareas of Computer Science and Engineering. However, we are particularlyinterested in candidates working at the frontiers of the following highpriority areas within Core Computing: Systems; Theory; Quantum Algorithms / Computation; Software Engineering; Programming Languages; Logic / Verification Responsibilities: Research : The appointee is responsible for undertaking high-quality innovative research, publishing research papers in top-tier venues, securing competitive research grants, and supervising research personnel. Teaching : The appointee is expected to have a high standard in teaching both undergraduate and graduate levels, which includes development of course materials, delivery of lectures and tutorials, grading assignments and exam papers, providing feedback to students, and academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate student projects. Service : The appointee is expected to responsibly undertake assigned administrative services in the college and university, such as serving on committees and mentoring students. Requirements: Applicants must Possess a PhD in related disciplines from a well-recognized university.
