Head of Legal | 10–15 PQE (CL-OC-36) About the opportunity A well-established Singapore-based essential services group with a strong operational track record is seeking an experienced Head of Legal. The organisation is undergoing an exciting phase of transformation, with a focus on innovation, technology, strategic partnerships and long-term growth. The role Reporting to the Group CEO, you will lead the organisation’s legal, corporate governance and compliance matters. You will work closely with the Board, senior management and business teams to provide commercially practical legal advice and support key strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities Advise on commercial contracts, corporate matters, regulatory compliance, employment and intellectual property Draft, review and negotiate agreements with customers, suppliers and business partners Establish effective contract management, approval and documentation processes Oversee corporate secretarial, governance and Board-related matters Support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships Manage disputes, legal risks, data privacy, ethics and compliance matters Provide practical legal guidance to support business operations and transformation Requirements Qualified lawyer with approximately 10–15 years of post-qualification experience Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate and commercial law Broad in-house legal experience across contracts, governance and corporate transactions Experience overseeing corporate secretarial matters would be advantageous Commercially astute, independent and decisive Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving organisation Why this role This is an opportunity to lead and shape the legal function of an established organisation as it enters its next phase of transformation and growth.
