Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and efficient LOGISTICS ASSISTANT AND DRIVER to join our growing logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods from warehouse to various clients in a timely and professional manner. The Driver will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of products while providing exceptional service to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Product Delivery : Safely transport products to clients according to schedules and routes as assigned. Customer Interaction : Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients. Ensure that deliveries are completed efficiently and professionally. Loading and Unloading : Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring all items are securely packed and handled with care. Documentation : Accurately complete delivery documentation / proof of deliveries. Vehicle Maintenance : Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and working condition. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good operational status. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor. Compliance : Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road. Timeliness : Ensure all deliveries are made within the agreed-upon time frames, managing time effectively to meet customer needs. Requirements: Valid Driver’s License : A valid Class 3 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a delivery-related role. Physical Fitness : Ability to lift and move packages or goods and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading. Good Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional manner. Attention to Detail : Ability to follow delivery instructions and ensure products are delivered accurately and in excellent condition. Time Management : Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and manage delivery schedules efficiently. Dependability : Ability to work independently and reliably, adhering to company policies and schedules.
