Shipping / Logistics Coordinator Assistant $2,500 – $2,800 9am - 6pm (Mon to Fri) Little India Job Responsibilities: Coordinate import and export shipments (sea & air). Prepare shipping documents, invoices, permits, cargo insurance, and customs documentation. Arrange bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders, and monitor shipment schedules. Track shipment status and update logistics records in the system. Coordinate transportation, container trucking, and local deliveries. Prepare and submit shipping documents, including BL, VGM, permits, and Certificates of Origin. Liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. Verify shipping charges and invoices. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Perform other ad hoc logistics and administrative duties. Requirements: Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent. Experience in shipping, logistics, import/export, or freight operations is preferred. Candidates without experience are welcome to apply; training will be provided. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of TradeNet, TradeWeb, shipping documentation, or customs procedures is an advantage. Good communication, coordination, and computer skills. Positive attitude, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
