Account Executive

Account Executive – Regional NVOCC / SOC Containers We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to be based at our Singapore HQ, supporting our regional NVOCC and Shipper-Owned Container (SOC) business. As most shipment volume is handled by our overseas offices and agents, this role will work closely with our Malaysia and Indonesia offices, as well as agents in Thailand, Vietnam, India, and other markets. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with overseas offices and agents to obtain timely sales, shipment, costing, receivables, and operational updates. Consolidate regional reports and present management with clear analysis of shipment volumes, revenue, profitability, key accounts, and outstanding issues. Review freight quotations and perform or validate end-to-end job costing from origin to destination. Ensure all potential costs are captured, including ocean freight, origin and destination local charges, trucking, terminal handling, documentation, depot charges, detention, demurrage, storage, and applicable surcharges. Support overseas teams with SOC container solutions, rate enquiries, commercial proposals, and customer requirements. Monitor regional business performance and highlight opportunities, risks, or operational issues to Singapore HQ management. Requirements Experience in NVOCC, ocean freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping. Good understanding of SOC containers, international ocean freight, related shipping charges, and job costing. Experience coordinating with overseas offices, agents, or regional teams. Strong Excel, reporting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and able to work independently in a regional role.
