Job Purpose Deliver exceptional front-of-house service to customers by ensuring a warm welcome, accurate order taking, and timely table service. Represent the restaurant’s brand through professionalism and attentiveness. Key Responsibilities Greet guests, seat them according to availability and manage waiting lists during peak hours Present menu, explain daily specials, upsell menu to create interest and awareness Assist to clear and reset tables efficiently for next seating Operate POS for order entry and billing with accuracy (when required) Participate in service briefings and product knowledge training Ensure all dining areas, pantry and stations are clean and organised Assist in monthly stock take and report low inventory items Follow all hygiene, food safety, and personal grooming standards Report spills, hazards, or accidents immediately to supervisor Collaborate with kitchen and floor team to ensure smooth flow of service Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in F&B or retail preferred Basic command of English and/or Mandarin to liaise with team and guests Physically fit; able to stand long hours as host / hostess Good interpersonal skills, team spirit and service mindset Able to commit to shift, weekend, and public holiday duties Well-groomed, punctual, and able to multitask under pressure
