Business Development Manager (Interior Design)

Monthly Salary: UP to $7,000 (Negotiable) Working Address: Central Business District Working Hours: 9AM - 6PM Our client is a leading Japanese interior design & build firm with over 35 years of history in Singapore and a project portfolio spanning department stores, specialty retail, F&B and corporate spaces across Asia (Japan, Taiwan, China, Vietnam and Malaysia). As the firm expands into the corporate office and workplace transformation market, they are creating a brand-new position for a hunter-type Business Development Manager to lead this expansion from the ground up. Responsibilities & Duties: Identify and develop new office fit-out, renovation and workplace transformation opportunities (full cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, closing) Catch office relocation and repositioning plans of Singapore-based corporates early, and position the firm ahead of the tender Build referral networks with commercial real estate agencies, office leasing teams, tenant representatives, property/facility management firms, architects and consultants Approach growth sectors in Singapore (example: logistics, healthcare/clinics and IT companies) Prepare proposals and market insights, leveraging AI and digital tools Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience with a proven record of acquiring new clients and closing deals Self-driven and able to work independently — this is a pioneer role with no existing pipeline The incumbent is required to set own targets with an execution plan Able to articulate own track record and sales approach with clarity and conviction Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Background in commercial real estate brokerage, office leasing or tenant representation Experience in property/facility management, construction, interior fit-out, or sales into logistics/healthcare/IT sectors Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders Benefits: Annual Leave Medical Leave Transport expense reimbursement Nextbeat Singapore Pte.Ltd.
