Senior Java Developer About the Role We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications within a fast-paced technology environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality software while contributing to the continuous improvement of existing platforms. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and backend services. Build scalable and reliable cloud-native solutions. Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure software quality. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while improving system performance and reliability. Prepare technical documentation and support software releases. Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Must Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of Java development experience. Strong knowledge of Core Java and object-oriented programming. Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on Azure. Experience with Kubernetes (AKS or similar container platforms). Strong understanding of unit testing and software engineering best practices. Experience with Linux, Windows, and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or GitHub. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging technologies. Experience within banking or financial services. Experience working with globally distributed teams.
