Plant Operations Manager Leading SME in metal scrap Location : Jurong Area Good benefits Operational Excellence: Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day operations to achieve maximum uptime, reliability, and availability for all mechanical, electrical, and material handling equipment. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop production team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing operations team. Safety & Compliance: Act as the primary custodian for plant and manpower safety, ensuring absolute commitment to standard safety procedures and HSE requirements. Process Optimization: Manage daily workflows and resource allocation to ensure seamless, efficient, and optimized plant operations. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial plant engineering or maintenance, with at least 3 years of proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Industry Background: Preferred experience from heavy industries such as power generation, thermal/boiler plants, energy, or process engineering sectors. Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, and PLC systems. Working Hours Weekdays: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
