Project Engineer (Electrical) Location- International Business Park and Paya Lebar You will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical systems for building construction projects across Singapore. You will be part of a dynamic team committed to safety, compliance, and engineering excellence. Job Responsibilities: 1. Project Execution and Site Planning Plan, schedule, and oversee on-site installation of electrical distribution systems, including ELV and security systems. Assist in preparing material BOQs, selecting equipment, and recommending installation methods. Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards. 2. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Attend coordination and progress meetings to resolve technical and scheduling issues. Supervise site activities including sub-contracted works and workforce deployment. Monitor site progress, resource allocation, and material usage to prevent wastage. 3. Regulatory & Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations (e.g. EMA, SCDF). Conduct site safety inspections and implement corrective actions when risks are identified. 4. Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting Liaise with consultants and RE/RTOs for inspections, testing, and commissioning. Lead the testing and commissioning of systems to verify safety and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation or commissioning. 5. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and manage project documentation including drawings, material records, inspection reports, and progress updates. Ensure proper documentation for authority submissions and project handover. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in residential, commercial or infrastructure projects. Certifications: Valid safety certifications (e.g., BCSS, Bizsafe). Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an advantage. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HT (High Tension) and LT (Low Tension) electrical systems, ELV and security systems. Familiarity with local codes, standards, and authority submission processes. Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM is an advantage. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills. Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
