Technician (Packaging ) JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate must be able to work Tuas . Transport Provided MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Applies subject matter knowledge. Requires capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge. Responsible for supporting production activities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Activities include setting-up, calibrating and operating machines and equipment, following production schedules and quality standards, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting production problems. Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems from the product line/process to minimize reject levels. QUALIFICATIONS Technical Diploma Experience/Background Minimum 2 years Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to operate and repair machinery Materials Science: Learning about the properties of paper, plastics, metals, and glass to ensure packaging integrity Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Studying industry standards like OSHA, HACCP (for food), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices for pharmaceuticals and medical devices).
