Key Responsibilities 1. System Migration & Revamp Support UAT & Testing: Support the technical testing of new microservices and the upcoming SaaS package. You will verify that the new system handles "FairPrice-specific" logic (like store delivery windows and loading bay constraints). Data Mapping: Assist in extracting data from our "old system" and cleaning it for migration into the new cloud database. Documentation: Work with the team to create new SOPs and technical manuals as we transition from an in-house developer model to a vendor-managed model. 2. Technical Operations & SQL Query Development: Use SQL to pull operational reports, troubleshoot delivery discrepancies, and audit data integrity between the TMS and other supply chain systems. Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of technical support for transport planners and operations teams, resolving system "glitches" or data errors promptly. 3. Cross-Functional Coordination Team Collaboration: Work closely with the TMS team to ensure the "moving parts" of the software revamp stay aligned with ground operations. Vendor Liaison: Assist in communicating technical requirements to our outsourced partners and SaaS providers. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality full stack applications Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure reliable releases Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments Continuously research and adopt new technologies, tools, and best practices Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Job Requirements Required Experience: 2–4 years of experience in logistics technology, transport planning systems, or supply chain analytics. Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills: You must be comfortable writing queries to join tables and extract data (essential for the legacy-to-cloud transition). Cloud Familiarity: A basic understanding of Cloud concepts (SaaS/Microservices) is a huge plus. Software Savvy: Experience using a TMS (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle, or proprietary systems). Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. Soft Skills: * A "can-do" attitude—ready to roll up your sleeves during a period of team transition and system revamp. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of data. Proven experience working on full stack applications Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Nice to Have Experience in route optimization, transport management systems, or delivery solutions Familiarity with databases, message queues, caching systems, reporting and analytics tools Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana etc) Strong understanding of system scalability, performance, and reliability
