About this role

The incumbent is responsible for managing both front and back-end store operations to ensure smooth operations and helping the Group Manager with project management. He/ she is expected to: Manage budgets, maximise profitability and set/ meet sales targets Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning Lead and motivate team to achieve organization goals Manage customers complaints, compliments and feedback Manage stock inventory and stock control Plan and manage promotional spaces and activities Recruit, train, supervise and appraise staff Plan and perform biannual stocktake for the store Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health and safety are met as well as compliance with various government legislation (NEA, SFA, SCDF etc.) Continuously review and enhance existing store operations and processes to improve business Involve in projects such as planning for new store opening and renovation works for existing stores Job Requirements: Degree in any discipline with min 3 years of relevant work experience in service/ retail industry Great passion for the service / retail industry Possess strong strategic thinking skills Good in project management Good at presenting reports and coming up with fresh ideas Highly customer-oriented, motivated, meticulous and results oriented Resourceful and problem solver with effective leadership skills and ability to motivate others Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to plan, prioritise workload and delegate accordingly Ability to multi-task and work under pressure Team player with ability to collaborate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders etc.
