Role Overview We are looking for a Key Account Executive to support and manage key retail accounts, including Cheers, 7-Eleven, and Guardian. This role will be responsible for driving account execution, coordinating day-to-day account requirements, supporting sales growth, managing promotions, tracking orders, and ensuring smooth communication between retailers and internal teams. The ideal candidate should be organised, commercially aware, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on account matters from planning to execution. Key Responsibilities Account Management Support the management of assigned key retail accounts, Build and maintain strong working relationships with buyers, account contacts, and internal stakeholders. Assist in preparing account plans, sales updates, promotion proposals, and product listing submissions. Follow up closely on retailer requirements, deadlines, account queries, and execution matters. Sales & Business Development Track account sales performance, sell-in, sell-out, promotional results, and stock movement. Identify opportunities to grow sales through new listings, promotions, displays, and improved store execution. Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and range expansion across assigned accounts. Monitor competitor activity, category trends, pricing, and shelf presence where relevant. Promotion & Retail Execution Coordinate promotion submissions, campaign mechanics, pricing, display requirements,. Ensure promotions are communicated clearly to internal teams and executed according to account timelines. Work with sales ops team to monitor shelf visibility, planogram compliance, displays, and store-level execution. Collect and review store photos, merchandising reports, and feedback from the field. Reporting & Administration Prepare weekly sales reports, account updates, launch trackers, and promotion summaries. Support claims, credit notes, listing fee documentation, rebate tracking, and other account-related administration. Ensure all account information is updated and properly filed for internal reference. Requirements Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in key account support, sales, FMCG, modern trade, convenience, pharmacy, or retail account management. Experience handling retail accounts such as convenience stores, pharmacies, supermarkets, or modern trade channels is preferred. Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills. Good working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and email. Able to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and operational details. Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Good attention to detail and ability to resolve issues independently where possible.
