About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee our team of delivery drivers and delivery crew. This role requires strong leadership, operational efficient planning, and a focus on safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily operations of company drivers and vehicles. Develop and implement fleet policies, schedules, and performance standards. Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules. Ensuring strict compliance on regulatory requirements (e.g., LTA, SPF, etc). Train, monitor, and support drivers to uphold safety and service standards. Manage incident reporting, insurance claims, and dispute resolution when required. Skills & Competencies Fleet Operations Management : Ability to plan, monitor, and optimize fleet efficiently. Leadership & People Management : Experience managing delivery drivers and field crews, resolving on-the-ground conflicts, and keeping teams motivated and accountable. Regulatory Compliance : In-depth understanding of transport compliance, and occupational health and safety standards. Data Analysis & Reporting : Track and analyse KPIs, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance costs to optimise fleet performance, while leveraging strong knowledge of Singapore's road network to design the most effective delivery routes. Problem-Solving & Risk Management : Take charge of incident response and dispute resolution, while proactively putting in place preventive strategies to safeguard operations, staff, and assets. Communication & Customer Service : Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage drivers, management, and external partners clearly and professionally, while building positive, collaborative relationships. Technology Proficiency : Familiar with fleet management software, GPS tracking, and digital reporting tools. Qualifications Prior experience in fleet or transport management is required Valid Singapore driving license (Class 3/4/5 depending on fleet type). KEY REQUIREMENTS Must be able to read and write in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Chinese-speaking clients. Must be able to read and write in English to effectively communicate with our stakeholders. Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to handle operations independently. Must be willing to work on Weekends and Public holidays. Willing and able to step in and support operations during periods of manpower shortage.
