DevOps Engineer (Openshift)

Job Summary We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, automate deployments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development teams and customers to ensure platform reliability and operational excellence. Responsibilities Manage and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes environments to ensure platform stability and scalability Build, support, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and Nexus to automate software delivery Automate deployment processes and infrastructure management to improve efficiency and reduce errors Monitor system performance continuously, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain high availability of services Implement security best practices to safeguard platform integrity and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Collaborate effectively with development teams and customers to support application deployments and operational needs Required competencies and certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field 3 years of DevOps experience managing OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms Proficiency with Docker, Helm, CI/CD tools, and automation techniques Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and performance testing tools such as JMeter Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork orientation Preferred competencies and qualifications OpenShift or Kubernetes certification Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Familiarity with Blue-Green deployment strategies, monitoring tools, and Agile/DevOps methodologies Experience in the banking or payments industry
