At every level, our engineers have a significant technical and business impact designing and building innovative new systems to power our customer's business critical applications. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, middleware, cloud infrastructure, applications, and hardware to ensure reliable performance. Perform system administration tasks including backups, capacity planning, performance monitoring, optimization, auditing, and provisioning. Use monitoring tools and dashboards to detect issues, improve efficiency, and maintain service performance. Manage identity and access controls, including user permissions, activity monitoring, and access provisioning. Monitor and manage batch processes using schedulers, ensuring job performance and SLA compliance. Apply regular patches and updates to address security vulnerabilities, bugs, and performance issues. Maintain system security across compute, storage, file systems, and privileged accounts in line with compliance standards. Support incident management by troubleshooting issues, handling escalations, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve system issues, support integrations, and ensure high availability. Monitor production environments through logs, dashboards, and ticket systems to proactively identify risks. Perform backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities, and participate in recovery drills. Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, configurations, and recovery plans. Support cloud operations through CI/CD pipelines, patching, upgrades, automation, and system optimization. Qualifications This role is open only to Singapore Citizens, as the scope of work involves government projects that require citizenship for clearance purposes. 6+ years of experience in network administration, systems architecture, database management, or related fields. Strong knowledge of operating systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Skilled in performance tuning to optimize system and application efficiency. Experience with systems integration and supporting technology projects. Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation. Knowledge of cloud computing, including deployment, management, and security. Proficient in scripting to automate tasks and improve system reliability.
