About this role
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for planning and performing statutory & special audits, and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls of the audit clients. Identify audit issues and concerns, and make practical value-added recommendations on internal controls and business processes. You will be responsible for handling full completion of each individual Company’s audit or Group of Companies’ audits. You will be responsible for guiding and supervising junior staff, and ensure timely completion of audits, submission of reports and meeting tight deadlines. Requirements: Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or relevant professional qualification. At least 2-3 years audit working experience in Singapore with good knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, testing and sampling methods involved in conducting individual company audits as well as Group audits. Experience in handling Group audits. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills. Ability to work and lead with a positive attitude. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of audit and analytics software will be an added advantage Ability to speak and write in other languages other than English will be an advantage, to carry out assignment and liaise with clients out of Singapore.
