About this role

We are actively hiring for a client in a Community Hospital setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested Pharmacy Technician to apply the role. Job Code: SCHE15/04/PHT Permanent Pharmacy Technician - Packing Services Pharmacy Operations Process medication orders with a high degree of accuracy and speed. Handle billing functions and administrative tasks as needed. Follow all established pharmacy protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control standards. Keep the medication packing environment clean, orderly, and compliant with regulations. Automation & PackingSupport Utilize the ATDPS to perform multidose medication packing. Prepare medications by deblistering them from original packaging when necessary. Oversee the daily operation of automated dispensing systems, including the setup of new medication canisters. Identify and resolve system transaction errors to ensure smooth workflow. Conduct final accuracy checks on packed prescriptions to guarantee patient safety. Maintain thorough and precise documentation for all processed prescriptions. Stock & Inventory Control Support inventory activities, including the ordering, receiving, and rotating of pharmaceutical stock. Ensure all medications are stored neatly under correct conditions, following the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method. Perform regular cycle counts and verify stock levels according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Requirements A full-time Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science, a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPTC), or a foreign Pharmacy degree (not currently recognized by the Singapore Pharmacy Council). Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment.
