Cardiac Technologist

Job responsibilities: Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound examinations to assist cardiologists in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases according to acceptable standards and protocol Perform echocardiogram procedures to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels. To ensure familiarization of use and correct handling of equipment to avoid incorrect equipment usage Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met Recognize and resolve abnormal situations that may arise Ensure regular QC, maintenance and care of equipment To ensure compliance of radiology safety policy Stay current with advancements in echocardiography technology. Job Requirements: Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, Biomedical Science or related Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Echo Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
