About Us We are an artisanal pastry shop renowned for craft and quality. We’re expanding into the hot and savory category with a French creperie concept that blends classic pastry techniques with flavorful, innovative fillings and savory crepes. We’re seeking a driven, independent chef who can shape a distinctive menu that marries pastry influence with French comfort and creativity. Key Responsibilities Lead menu design and recipe development for savory hot dishes and crepes, integrating pastry techniques with French flavors. Build and maintain a recipe database, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and seasonal menu rotations. Manage required kitchen operations, including staff training, inventory planning and supplier communication. Ensure food safety, sanitation standards, and allergen awareness. Train and onboard staff on new recipes and techniques as needed; lead by example in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Contribute to occasional events, pop-ups, or catering as needed. Light baking is required - we can provide training Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan ahead, organize, and execute without heavy supervision. Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to document processes clearly for kitchen staff. Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred, but proven experience is highly valued. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to deliver consistent results under deadlines.
