Planning Manager

Responsibilities: Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Creating detailed schedules and coordinating various construction activities. Identifying potential delays and developing mitigation strategies. Establishing project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Overseeing change orders and assessing impact to completion milestone dates. Assist and support all claims for extension of time. Allocating resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Coordinating the work of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assessing and reviewing adequate staffing levels and skill sets are available for each phase of the project. Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. Conducting regular site inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues. Facilitating project meetings and ensuring alignment among team members Overseeing the completion of all project activities and ensuring all extensions of time claims are accounted for. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. Shall have at least 8 years of work experience in the built industry and: Completed at least 3 building/infrastructure projects Completed at least 1 reclamation project Experience in internships and project work will be considered. Good knowledge of construction methodologies and construction sequencing. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders from local and overseas.
