Cost Estimator (Semicon Manufacturing/ Us Listed Mnc)

Responsibilities Prepare cost estimates and quotations for customer orders, new projects, and product opportunities. Review technical drawings, engineering documents, and product requirements to understand costing needs. Work with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to assess material requirements, production processes, and build feasibility. Apply pricing models, costing standards, and internal guidelines to develop competitive and accurate quotes. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and other departments to gather cost inputs and support pricing decisions. Analyse multi-level Bills of Materials (BOM) to determine material, labour, and manufacturing cost impact. Maintain communication with customers and internal stakeholders on quotation matters and program-related updates. Support continuous improvement of estimating processes while managing quote timelines independently with minimal supervision. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in quotation, cost estimation, pricing, or related manufacturing support roles. Experience working with multi-level BOMs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation, preferably in semiconductor or precision manufacturing environments. Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and VBA. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems such as Oracle, Agile, or similar platforms, with good communication skills and ability to work independently.
