Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and direction to the management teams and secretariat functions supporting international engagements with bodies such as IFIAR, IASB and AARG. Build organisational and leadership capabilities by strengthening technical expertise, developing future leaders and maintaining a sustainable talent pipeline. Lead transformation initiatives through process improvements and the adoption of AI, data and digital capabilities to enhance regulatory effectiveness and operational efficiency. Contribute as a member of the Company’s Senior Leadership Team, supporting enterprise-wide strategy, governance and organisational priorities. Lead environmental scanning and strategic planning to anticipate developments in accounting, auditing, regulation and the global business environment. Shape regulatory strategies and policy positions through engagement with the accountancy profession, preparers, directors, management, professional bodies and international regulators. Provide thought leadership on emerging regulatory, market and industry developments to strengthen the accountancy and audit ecosystem. Oversee the development, review and enhancement of legislation, policies and regulatory frameworks to ensure ongoing relevance and effectiveness. Partner with the ministry and other government agencies to advance the Company’s strategic objectives and regulatory outcomes. Provide strategic direction through participation in key committees and other relevant governance forums. Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international stakeholders to foster collaboration, influence regulatory developments and advance the Company’s interests. Represent the Company in high-level domestic and international forums, promoting thought leadership and strengthening its reputation within the global regulatory community. Requirements: The role requires extensive accounting and auditing experience, strong technical knowledge, leadership and management capabilities and experience in leading change.
