Application Development & Maintenance Manager (For Banking Industry) (Central)

Brief Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development and maintenance of essential systems in a dynamic banking environment. This role offers an opportunity to manage a team while interfacing directly with clients. Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end management of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing the Waterfall methodology. Oversee and mentor a team of 3–4 engineers. Develop and maintain end-user computing applications primarily using Microsoft Access and Excel. Create and support solutions involving SSIS, stored procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and general database technologies on Windows Server. Act as the primary liaison with clients, particularly the Bank’s IT Department. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Banking IT Department or Consulting Firm. Proven hands-on development experience with at least one programming language; proficiency in Microsoft Access VBA, .NET, and C# is preferred. Strong foundation in database and server technologies, including SSIS, stored procedures, PowerShell scripts, SQL Server, and general database management on Windows Server. Ability to simplify complex situations logically for non-technical end-users. Excellent proactive communication skills with stakeholders and colleagues. Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within and across multiple teams. Adaptability to work within constrained development environments governed by strict banking policies.
