Shipping Optimisation Analyst (6 Month Contract/Up To $3600)

This role sits within the Shipping Optimization team and supports the delivery of a structured, data-driven optimization programme across voyage management, performance analytics and commercial workflows. The contractor will operate at the intersection of systems, data and business processes, ensuring that core datasets, dashboards and workflows are accurate, fit-for-purpose and ready to support live commercial decision-making. The role is execution-focused and critical to eliminating value leakage ensuring that Voyage Management Data, dashboards and operational workflows are properly validated, structured and embedded before scaling into steady-state operations. The ideal candidate is highly systems-literate, comfortable picking up new tools quickly, configuring existing platforms to better suit business needs, and identifying where software can be made to work harder Key Accountabilities: Voyage Management System Data Validation — Validate setup across ~60 vessels (fuel zones, scrubber configs, vessel data) and standardise warranted profiles to ensure a reliable baseline for all reporting and KPIs Dashboard Validation — Validate business logic across key dashboards (fleet register, earnings, claims handover, optimisation value tracker) and ensure outputs reflect commercial reality before go-live. Workflow Structuring & Migration — Restructure Excel-based workflows and migrate into systems to enable accurate live reporting SOP Development & Audit Readiness — Document all Shipping Optimisation team processes, workflows and controls as formal Standard Operating Procedures.
