Manufacturing Technician

Work Arrangements: 12 Hour rotating day and night shift (every quarter): 8 - 8.15 Saturday Team 12 Hours (Rotate Day & Night Shift) 8:00AM - 8:15PM: Wed (Alternate),Thurs, Fri, Sat 8:00PM - 8:15 AM: Wed (Alternate),Thurs, Fri, Sat OR Sunday Team 12 Hours (Rotate Day & Night Shift) 8:00AM - 8:15PM: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed (Alternate) 8:00PM - 8:15AM: Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed (Alternate) Key responsibilities: Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform build, test and repair Inspects parts for defects, troubleshoots and improves processes Observes all safety standards and maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries Requirements: Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Relevant experience would be advantageous Relevant internship / academic background would be considered We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
