Windows L3 Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities: Provide Level 3 support for Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022). Manage and troubleshoot Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and virtualization platforms. Lead resolution of high-severity incidents and perform root cause analysis. Drive service improvements, automation initiatives, and operational excellence. Support infrastructure projects, production readiness reviews, and technology transformations. Manage server deployments, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and system upgrades. Maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge sharing within the team. Collaborate with architects, project teams, service managers, and clients. Support business continuity (BCP/DR), failover testing, and disaster recovery activities. Participate in rotational shifts, on-call support, and coverage for Europe business hours. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. 10+ years of Windows Infrastructure Administration experience. 3-5 years experience in Banking/Financial Services environments. Expert knowledge of: Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022) Hyper-V Microsoft Failover Clustering Active Directory Administration Server Hardware (HPE Synergy, Simplivity, DL/BL Servers, Alletra) Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Network, Storage, and Applications. Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience of VMware (vSphere, vCenter, vROPS, vRLI). Experience with patching, vulnerability management (Tenable/Nessus), monitoring tools, and deployment tools. Strong ITIL, operations support, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
