Application Developer (12 Months)

Contract Period: 12 months Job Description • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP based on business and technical requirements. • Develop and maintain frontend components using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver responsive and user-friendly web applications. • Design, code, test, and deploy server-side application components. • Develop and maintain MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases, including database design and query optimization. • Integrate web applications with internal APIs. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability and performance. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and deliver software solutions. • Perform application maintenance, enhancements, and production support. • Participate in code reviews, software testing, and deployment activities. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing and deployment processes. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Monitor application performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability and security. • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python & Shell scripting to support application development. • Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive measures to improve application stability. • Participate in an on-call support rotation to provide timely resolution of production incidents and critical system issues. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support application releases, deployments, and emergency fixes during planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Job Requirements Minimum Bachelor Degree in related field At least 8 years of experience in PHP application development. Provide 24x7 production support for web applications, including monitoring, application availability, incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure high system availability and business continuity.
