Accountant, Up $5.5K Work Location: CBD Working Hours: 9AM to 6PM (Mon to Fri) The Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This includes overseeing accounting transactions, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting transactions,including entries in accounts payable, account receivable and general ledger aswell as cashflow management. Prepare payments to vendors through bankportal and liaise with bank as needed Perform month-end closing including year-endclosing procedure as well as financial statements preparation Prepare and analyze financial reports Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts Support project teams with procurement processes and project budget monitoring Provide guidance on accounting principles and procedures to Operation Team and Management Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as needed Liaise with tax agent on quarterly GST filings and yearly corporate tax submissions Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, ora related field. Diploma holder is also welcome to apply 3 - 4 years of experience in finance andaccounting preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Adept at working with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics 365. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to details and accuracy
