We are seeking a proactive and experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Officer / Senior EHS Officer to lead and drive the organization's workplace safety, health, and environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, corporate EHS standards, and customer-specific requirements while fostering a strong safety culture across the organization. This role will act as the registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer and support continuous improvement initiatives covering workplace safety, environmental sustainability, waste management, regulatory compliance, and contractor management. Workplace Safety & Health Management Serve as the appointed WSH Officer registered with Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Ensure full compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act, subsidiary legislation, and other applicable environmental regulations. Lead workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification activities, and incident investigations. Manage waste tracking, reporting, and documentation to support UL2799 Zero Waste to Landfill certification requirements. Work closely with internal stakeholders and waste service providers to ensure compliance with waste segregation and disposal requirements. Review contractor Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements, and permit-related documentation. Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with company EHS standards and regulatory requirements. Certifications Registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer with Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is mandatory. Additional certifications such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, bizSAFE, Fire Safety Manager, or Environmental Control Officer will be advantageous. Required Experience & skills Diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in manufacturing, electronics, semiconductor, technology, logistics, or related industries. Experience managing workplace safety programs, environmental compliance, and regulatory reporting. Hands-on experience supporting EHS audits, customer assessments, and certification programs. Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and environmental legislation. Familiarity with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards. Experience supporting UL2799 Zero Waste to Landfill certification or similar sustainability initiatives. Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and CAPA implementation.
