Job Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics activities in collaboration with outsourced logistics providers, including arranging transportation, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and coordinating with carriers and freight forwarders. • Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Liaise and coordinate with customers, suppliers, internal departments, and third-party warehouses to facilitate smooth delivery arrangements. • Obtain and provide freight quotations and shipping schedules to internal stakeholders. • Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery schedules, shipment status, and shipping documentation. • Ensure compliance with trade regulations by preparing and submitting applications for Certificates of Origin (COO) through the Singapore Chambers of Commerce and relevant authorities. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all documentation is complete and submitted on time. • Oversee customs clearance processes, ensuring the accuracy of HS Codes, import/export declarations, and shipping documentation. • Perform SAP transactions related to Inventory Management and Goods Movement, including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), and Stock Transfers. • Ensure compliance with established logistics and operational procedures. Work closely with outsourced logistics providers and internal teams to streamline processes, improve service levels, and optimize logistics costs. • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and operational performance. • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics (3PL) service providers. Job Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations. • Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, transportation arrangements, and delivery schedules. • Good understanding of import/export procedures, customs clearance, and international trade compliance requirements. • Experience in applying for Certificates of Origin (COO) through the Singapore Chambers of Commerce or other relevant authorities will be an advantage. • Good knowledge of HS Codes, customs declarations, and import/export documentation. • Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in Inventory Management and Goods Movement transactions (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, and Stock Transfers). • Experience working with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and cross-functional internal teams. • Strong organizational, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
