Job Summary As a Student Care Teacher at PlayFACTO @ Hillview, you will deliver engaging lessons, supervise homework completion, ensure student safety, and communicate progress with parents to nurture primary students’ academic and character development. Responsibilities Deliver and present lesson content effectively to primary school children to enhance learning engagement Supervise primary students (P1 to P6) to ensure timely and accurate completion of daily homework assignments Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times within the student care centre and during transfers Manage safe and timely transfer of children from school to the student centre when required Fetch students from nearby schools as needed to support centre operations Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to report on children’s academic progress and behaviour Perform administrative tasks including sales, fee collection, form processing, and upkeep of centre premises Execute any other ad-hoc duties delegated by the Centre Head to support centre functions Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in education, student care, or classroom settings, preferably with primary school students Professional Certificate, NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Linguistics, Languages, Education, Teaching, Training, or equivalent preferred Ability to guide and support students in primary school subjects Demonstrate a positive attitude and professional integrity in challenging situations Passion for working with and nurturing children and fostering their learning process Other Information Benefits (Student Care Teacher): Competitive salary based on education, qualifications, experience, dedication, and classroom skills Flexible working arrangements including Full Time, Part Time, and Relief positions Opportunities for professional growth and development Comprehensive academic and operational training provided Annual internal and external professional development courses Supportive and positive work environment
