Technician / Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities: Design and construct test equipment for the testing of our products on the production line or the lab. Test and qualify parts and components used on our products Design PCB layouts, construct prototypes and verify the performance of the circuitry Complete certification of our products with various certification bodies Complete documentation of our products, manufacturing procedures and quality requirements, (eg BOM, test specifications, component specification, circuit diagrams, mechanical drawings instruction manuals etc.) Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma or Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent. Preferably 2 year(s) of working experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Candidates with higher qualifications will be considered for more senior position. Ability to plan, organise and timely execute assigned tasks Good communication skills, able to interact with all levels Knowledge of Engineering functions like Knowledge of BOM creation, updating and Engineering Change Notice is an added advantage.
