Job Summary Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors to oversee tender submissions, project contracts, and commercial risk management, ensuring compliance and delivering cost-effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Lead a team of quantity surveyors to prepare and submit tenders, manage ongoing projects, and resolve contractual matters to ensure timely and compliant project delivery Develop and implement strategies for defining scope of works and contract terms when sourcing suppliers and subcontractors to optimize procurement outcomes Provide clear, actionable contractual advice to senior management, project managers, and project staff to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation Ensure all projects comply with contract requirements and procedural standards to maintain quality and legal adherence Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable agreements and control project costs Conduct risk and value management analyses and apply cost control measures during design and project execution phases to maximize project value Identify, analyze, and develop actionable responses to commercial risks impacting projects to safeguard company interests Required competencies and certifications Demonstrated leadership skills managing teams in construction quantity surveying and contract management Proficient negotiation skills applied to subcontractor and supplier contracts Strong problem-solving skills to address contractual and commercial challenges effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and negotiation Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail i…
