Responsibilities Our consultants are responsible for providing professional services to PTS’ clients throughout strategy, design, procurement and implementation stages of projects. Overview of Role: To perform the role of Assistant Project Manager within the PTS Team: · Working as part of a multi-skilled team to provide structured cabling and telecoms design services to PTS’ clients · Convert client requirements from concept design to fully functional solutions · Manage the procurement and implantation process · Represent PTS in a professional manner at all times and exercise good communication skills with the Client; other design bodies and contractors The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Team in: · Planning, executing, coordinating, and delivering projects assigned · Tracking project milestones, project progress, develop progress report with required documentations and presentations · Executing project in accordance with project management system and processes · Tracking deliverables and completing assigned tasks · Plan and manage project schedules to meet team objectives. · Attend site meetings and manage coordination meetings. · Escalate issues and critical paths timely · Supporting the Team in establishing and refining the service delivery processes · Any other ad-hoc duties · To develop AutoCAD Drawing upon assigned by consultants In addition to delivery responsibilities, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to: · Have strong organisational and communication skills · Have excellent interpersonal skills · Be able to command and empathise with both internal and client teams · Manage multiple simultaneous assignments · Collaborate with other PTS teams (AV, physical security, Professional and Managed Services) Characteristics & Skills · Experienced and eager to engage with both the PTS team and its clients · A self-motivated individual that can work both in isolation and in a team as necessary with effective time management · Asserts ownership of projects/tasks to ensure completion within the applied constraints · Able to compile reports and project documentation to a high standard · Unafraid to attempt new work outside of their normal “comfort-zone” · Meticulous eye for detail · Honest and forthright with the ability to challenge constructively · Self-motivated · Ability to act on own initiative · Team player · Methodical process orientated approach · Excellent interpersonal skills · A proactive and professional attitude Experience and Certifications Relevant Necessary Experience: · Project Delivery Experience · Understand the complexities of construction environments in general · Previous experience in Structured Cabling System, Data Centre and campus distribution is an advantage · Understanding of MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office and CAD Software · A demonstrable passion for technology · Excellent spoken and written English · Able to travel Asia-wide
