Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure – Hybrid Cloud)

About the Role Our client, a leading financial technology company specializing in banking and wealth management solutions, is seeking an experienced Cloud Expert – Senior Engineer to join its Release and Environment Management (REM) team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure (public cloud) and Virtuozzo (private cloud), ensuring availability, scalability, and resiliency across all environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, PROD). Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across Azure and Virtuozzo Ensure availability, scalability, and resiliency across all environments (DEV, INT, SIM, UAT, PROD) Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premise to Azure and Virtuozzo Optimize compute, storage, networking, and virtualization environments Support CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modernization Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and reliability Collaborate on cloud governance and architecture standards Resolve cloud incidents, bottlenecks, and infrastructure issues Drive automation and standardization of provisioning and operations Experience 10+ years in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps with strong cloud exposure Experience in banking or financial systems is a plus Technical Skills Azure public cloud (IaaS/PaaS) Virtuozzo private cloud platform Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, ARM, or Bicep Containers & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS or similar) Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell CI/CD: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins Monitoring: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Hybrid networking: VPN, VNet, private endpoints Security: IAM, RBAC, best practices Professional Competencies Hybrid cloud architecture, design, and operations (Azure + Virtuozzo) Cloud migration strategies Cross-platform troubleshooting Automation and IaC High availability and disaster recovery Cost optimization DevOps as an enabling capability Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Clear communication across teams Proactive mindset focused on automation and transformation Cross-functional collaboration Ability to drive platform improvements
