About this role
Responsibilities: • Contribute to detailed design, coding, code walkthroughs, peer reviews, unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of software modules. • Prepare and maintain the following deliverables: --Software prototypes --System architecture and software design documents --User interfaces developed in line with UX guidelines --Code files that follow coding guidelines --Code review artifacts for peer reviews --Test plans and test cases --Installation and deployment documents --Release notes and technical documentation • Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clean code, while ensuring tasks are completed within defined effort and timelines. • Prepare and install solutions by defining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming requirements. • Perform testing activities, including test case creation, unit testing, system testing, and negative testing. • Troubleshoot issues through log analysis and database query optimization. • Improve operations by analyzing system performance and behavior. • Keep technical knowledge current by learning modern development tools, programming techniques, and computing technologies; participating in learning opportunities; reading professional publications; and maintaining professional networks. • Protect operations by maintaining confidentiality of information. • Provide insights by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. • Develop software solutions by understanding information needs, consulting users, analyzing system flows, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the delivery lifecycle. • Ensure quality processes are implemented and followed. Requirements: • B.E./B.Tech. in CS/IT, MCA, M.Tech., or an equivalent degree from a reputed institute is preferred, along with 2–4 years of relevant industry experience across diverse development projects. • Knowledge of current software development trends, including OOP, multi-tier software development, component architecture, and web-based software. • Understanding of system integration issues. • Ability to gather and analyze data and draw logical conclusions. • Strong programming skills and proficiency in Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL/Oracle, J2EE, and related Java technologies. • Willingness to travel.
