Process Safety Manager (Petrochemical/Lng)

Responsibilities Own and upgrade our engineering governance, operational rules, and safety protocols across all company facilities. Lead our Process Safety Management (PSM) initiatives (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and incident investigations) ensuring everything complies with local regulations and global industry codes. Oversee asset integrity and maintenance strategies to maximize plant uptime, operational discipline, and overall performance. Act as the main technical authority for process, mechanical, electrical, and risk management disciplines. Provide technical guidance as we transition our operations from pilot phases toward full commercial deployment. Work closely with the CEO and senior management, keeping them informed on technical risks, operational readiness, and strategic engineering upgrades. Requirements Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (advanced degrees or professional certifications are a big plus). Experience: At least 10 years of engineering leadership in high-hazard environments like petrochemicals, refining, gas processing, or LNG. Energy Transition Knowledge: Experience with hydrogen, syngas, biomass, or renewable fuels is highly advantageous. Technical Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of process safety management and standard industry codes (like API, ASME, NFPA, and ISO).
