About the job This high-visibility governance opportunity focuses on managing third-party risk, ensuring regulatory outsourcing compliance, and safeguarding data quality across external partner networks. Mitigate outsourcing and third-party operational risk by evaluating supplier compliance and aggressively enforcing contractual commitments and service level agreements (SLAs). Serve as the critical risk and governance bridge between internal business activity owners (BAOs) and technical suppliers to ensure operational requirements are translated with high data integrity. Protect corporate data confidentiality and quality by ensuring all vendor solutions adhere to global information security frameworks and data governance standards prior to deployment. Maintain the institutional third-party vendor risk register, tracking compliance metrics and governing documentation across the outsourced supplier network. Formulate risk-mitigation insights to brief senior management and executive sponsors on vendor performance anomalies and contractual compliance exposures. Skills and experience required At least 5 years of professional experience in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Risk Governance, Technology Risk, or IT Internal Audit. Proven track record in first-line-of-defense (1LOD) risk control, outsourcing risk governance, or contract risk management within a highly regulated sector like insurance, reinsurance, or banking. Strong practical knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MAS Outsourcing Requirements, OSPAR certifications, or technology risk management (TRM) principles. Foundational technical baseline (such as a Degree or Diploma in Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a CISA certification) allowing you to confidently review functional scopes and validate vendor solutions. Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the commercial gravitas to challenge vendor underperformance and manage multi-functional interfaces across Risk, Legal, and Business units.
