6 Months Contract – Private Wealth Management Operations, Cash Operations Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Private Wealth Management Operations – Cash Operations professional to join their team on a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day processing and settlement of cash and investment-related transactions for Private Wealth Management clients. The role involves handling remittances, fund transfers, deposits, foreign exchange transactions and structured products, while ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with established operational controls and procedures. Key Responsibilities • Process incoming and outgoing remittances, including SWIFT authorisation and related payment instructions. • Process various fund transfers, including branch account funding, Private Banking (PB) to Retail Banking (RB), RB to PB, internal transfers and BP-to-BP transfers. • Process Money Market and Fixed Deposit transactions, including placements, maturities, redemptions and pre-terminations. • Process Foreign Exchange (FX) trades, including spot and forward transactions. • Process Structured Deposit transactions, including buy, sell, interest payment, early redemption and redemption activities. • Process Dual Currency Investment (DCI) transactions, including new trades and fixing activities. • Process FX Derivatives transactions, including FX Options, FX ACDC, FX Swaps and other related products. • Perform end-of-day checks to ensure all transactions have been processed accurately and there are no outstanding or pending orders in the order book. • Perform daily reconciliation against other systems, including ARTS and FINIQ, to ensure all executed trades have been accurately processed and reflected in the Avaloq system. • Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, exceptions and outstanding items in a timely manner. • Ensure all operational activities are performed in accordance with established processes, internal controls, risk management guidelines and regulatory requirements. • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing client transactions. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and relevant teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth transaction processing. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accountancy or a related discipline. • Relevant experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management Operations, Banking Operations, Cash Operations or Transaction Processing. • Good understanding of banking and wealth management products, including remittances, fund transfers, Fixed Deposits, Money Market, FX, Structured Deposits and FX Derivatives. • Experience with Avaloq or other core banking/wealth management systems will be an advantage. • Familiarity with systems such as ARTS and FINIQ will be an added advantage. • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in transaction processing. • Salary ranges between S$4,500 to S$5,500 per month.
