Middle Office Trade Operations (6 Months Contract)

Job Description: Manage and support the end-to-end trade lifecycle across Fixed Income, Equities, and FX products. Perform trade confirmation, settlement , and post-trade processing accurately and within established service level agreements. Monitor and resolve trade exceptions, breaks, and discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution. Escalate trade-related issues where appropriate and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve outstanding items. Liaise with Front Office, Operations, Custody, Settlements, Technology, and other counterparties to facilitate smooth trade processing. Prepare and maintain operational reports where needed. Utilise Microsoft Excel and other operational tools for reporting, reconciliation, analysis, and issue tracking. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation , process improvements, and workflow optimisation. Requirements: Min. degree in Banking, Finance Economics, or a related discipline. Prior 1-2 years experience in middle office, trade support, or trade settlements roles within a financial institution. Ability to work under pressure and in a deadline-driven environment.
