We are hiring and the details of this position are: Job Title: IT Security Solutions Engineer (Perm role, F5 load balancer, Checkpoint firewall, Palo Alto, up to $8000) Key Responsibilities: 1. Firewall Administration (Palo Alto & Checkpoint) Policy Management: Design, implement, and audit security policies. In PaloAlto, this includes managing App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID; in Checkpoint,managing the Three-Tier Architecture (SmartConsole, Management Server, andGateway). Threat Prevention: Configure and monitor IPS/IDS for Checkpoint Centralized Management: Use Panorama (Palo Alto) and Smart Dashboard (Checkpoint) to push updates and manage multi-cluster environments. 2. Application Delivery & Load Balancing (F5 BIG-IP) Traffic Steering: Configure Local Traffic Manager (LTM) for load balancing, including Virtual Servers, Pools, and Health Monitors. 3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Upgrades: Perform firmware/OS updates (PAN-OS, Gaia, TMOS) and hotfix installations during maintenance windows. Root Cause Analysis: Lead troubleshooting calls for complex connectivity issues, using packet captures (Wireshark, tcpdump) to identify latency ordrops. DR Drills: Participate in Disaster Recovery testing to ensure high-availability (HA) failover works seamlessly across all platforms. Job Requirements Work closely with customers in achieving project deliverables. Understand and identify customer challenges in IT Security domain.
