Optical Lens Technician (North, Shift Work, Training Provided) - Hwx

Key Responsibilities Operate and set up MRF polishing machines for precision optical manufacturing. Perform loading, unloading, centering, and polishing of optical components. Conduct 2D and 3D measurements using metrology equipment such as Talysurf, Luphoscan, and ASI. Perform surface quality inspections and in-process checks. Carry out basic machine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping. Support optics processing activities including lacquering, cementing, de-cementing, and cleaning. Maintain workplace safety and 5S standards. Any ad hoc duties as assigned Requirements: min. Nitec /Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines. Basic knowledge of CNC or precision manufacturing processes preferred. Comfortable working in a manufacturing and shift-based environment.
