Responsibilities Design Review & Technical Compliance Review electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and submissions from consultants and contractors to verify compliance with clinical requirements, Singapore building codes, and international healthcare standards. Identify technical gaps or discrepancies in design submissions and work with consultants to resolve them before works proceed on site. Ensure all electrical systems - including LV/HV distribution, emergency power, UPS, lighting, and building management systems - are designed to meet the operational requirements of a high-acuity hospital environment. Construction Oversight & Site Coordination Attend site inspections and technical meetings to monitor the installation of electrical systems against approved drawings and specifications. Review and assess requests for information (RFIs), site queries, and variation orders relating to electrical works, providing timely technical responses to keep the programme on track. Coordinate with the mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to resolve cross-discipline clashes and ensure integrated systems deliver Testing, Commissioning & Handover Support the testing and commissioning of all electrical systems, ensuring that performance meets design intent and clinical operational requirements. Review commissioning reports, inspection records, and test results, identifying deficiencies and ensuring rectification before practical completion. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate records of electrical submissions, approvals, test results, and as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant regulatory requirements, including BCA, EMA, SCDF, and MOH licensing standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
