Key Responsibilities Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging examinations, with a strong focus on MRI, while also supporting other modalities such as ultrasound where required. Produce high-quality diagnostic images by adhering to established imaging protocols and best clinical practices. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the examination process, addressing concerns, and ensuring a safe, comfortable, and positive patient experience. Operate MRI and other imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols and safety regulations. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic quality assurance checks to maintain optimal performance and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate patient records and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and clinical governance. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification. Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body. Demonstrated experience and competency in MRI is preferred. Experience in additional imaging modalities, including ultrasound, will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of MRI safety principles, imaging protocols, and patient care standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
