Commercial Loans Manager (Hire Purchase) Salary: $7,000 - $10,000 + Variable Bonus Location: Pandan Road Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm Key Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end loan lifecycle, from application and credit assessment to approval, documentation, and disbursement. Ensure efficient loan processing while maintaining strong risk controls and service standards. Monitor portfolio performance and implement strategies to maintain healthy asset quality. Evaluate loan applications and conduct detailed credit assessments. Make sound lending decisions in accordance with company policies and risk appetite. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal controls, and industry best practices. Review financial statements, credit reports, and supporting documents to assess borrower suitability. Lead, coach, and develop a team of loan officers and credit professionals. Identify opportunities to improve lending workflows and operational efficiency. Monitor delinquency trends and portfolio risk indicators. Work closely with collections teams to minimize defaults and improve recovery rates. Recommend proactive measures to strengthen portfolio quality and profitability. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Accountancy, or related disciplines. 3 years of experience in banking, lending, loan management, credit underwriting Strong understanding of credit assessment, risk management, and lending principles. Proven experience reviewing financial statements and making credit decisions.
