RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare interesting resources for the classroom Identify student’s needs and work to help each child develop his or her own potential Participate in the Academy events such as: Concerts and public performances Conduct parent-teacher interviews / open house twice yearly Attend professional development sessions to improve your teaching methods and maintain curriculum currency Present a professional image in dressing and personality at all times REQUIREMENTS: Candidates may specialise in one or more of the following disciplines: Classical Ballet Minimum RAD/CSTD Advanced One Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma/Degree. Teaching experience preferred. RAD or CSTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage. Jazz / Tap / Contemporary Minimum Dance Diploma. Teaching experience preferred. Classical Ballet background will be advantageous. ATOD/CSTD/ISTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage. Hip-Hop / K-Pop Minimum 3 years of teaching experience. Dance Diploma or Degree will be an added advantage. Possess relevant dance achievements or certifications from recognised dance schools. Must be up-to-date with current dance trends. For All Disciplines: Comfortable travelling between studios when required.
